CREDO 2009: « The Herb Garden of the Ideal City »
The international workshop CREDO 2009 (Cooperation in Research and Education for Design Options) will be held from April 17 to 25, 2009.
The theme chosen for the 2009 CREDO session is: “The Herb Garden of the Ideal City.”

International design workshop – April 17 to 25, 2009
The garden is a keystone in the organization of an abbey, be it seen as an Ideal City or a just as a place to live. In a monastery the garden acts as a self-sufficient space dedicated to experimentation and preservation, a place where vegetal species with healing and soothing properties are kept. Its mention echoes several modern-day issues at the crossroads between eating habits, health/well-being and vegetal life. During this year’s session we will strive to think up new prospective scenarios to answer a number of related questions.
This theme is related to a cultural event to be held in the fall of 2009 at the abbey and called “The Ideal City.” The outcomes of the workshop will be exhibited on this occasion.
Additionally a bilingual booklet will be published as part of a “CREDO” book collection.
